Waste water generated during tank cleaning contains dissolved cleaning agents and residue from the tanks. As these would obviously put a strain on the public waste water system, we clean the waste water on site in our own, ultra-modern systems according to the latest technologies. Even the resulting exhaust air is fed through a special cleaning system to ensure that we fulfil all requirements in the administrative regulations set out in the Technical Instructions on Air Quality Control (Technische Anleitung zur Reinhaltung der Luft – TA). Furthermore, TTC complies with all legal requirements as per the Federal Immission Protection Act (Bundes-Immissionsschutzgesetz) and undergoes regular internal and external checks. In addition, we are continually modernising our systems to ensure that we are always up to date – both in terms of technology and environmental protection.
